All four current models are confirmed. PlayStation marks the game PS5 Pro Enhanced, but Rockstar has not published a full performance table, so there is no evidence-based fps winner yet.
Confirmed models
PS5 and PS5 Pro are covered by PlayStation; Series X and Series S are covered by Xbox Series X|S. PS4 and Xbox One are not launch targets on the formal list.
Series X and Series S
Both are official targets. Rockstar has not published the GTA VI mode differences needed for a performance recommendation.
When to choose
Wait for official performance details and independent launch measurements if this game is the sole reason for buying. Existing owners of a supported console already meet the platform requirement.
Decision: Do not replace a confirmed console for rumoured fps. Pay for a higher model only after the relevant performance difference is demonstrated.
