Rockstar's Newswire announcement sets out two release windows for the presentation. It premieres on Netflix at 3 p.m. ET on August 27, then is scheduled to become available on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the GTA VI site at 9 p.m. ET. Netflix's own announcement confirms that its subscribers receive the first window six hours earlier.
| Official route | Eastern Time | UTC | UK | Central Europe |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Netflix | Aug. 27, 3:00 p.m. | Aug. 27, 19:00 | Aug. 27, 20:00 | Aug. 27, 21:00 |
| Rockstar YouTube and GTA VI site | Aug. 27, 9:00 p.m. | Aug. 28, 01:00 | Aug. 28, 02:00 | Aug. 28, 03:00 |
The 3 p.m. ET window is for Netflix subscribers. Rockstar links its reminder button to netflix.com/GTAVI. The 9 p.m. ET route is the later official publication on Rockstar's YouTube channel and GTA VI site, without a Netflix subscription. These are announced times, not confirmation that either publication began on schedule.
The confirmed release and platform status
The presentation schedule is separate from the game's release details. At the same 12:09 UTC check, Rockstar's GTA VI page still listed November 19, 2026 as the release date and named PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the platforms. The page also displayed pre-order options.
Rockstar's page did not list a PC edition. That is a limit on what is currently confirmed, not evidence that another platform can never be announced. Nothing in the pre-event schedule supports a different release date or an additional platform.
