The short answer
Rockstar currently lists GTA VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a November 19, 2026 release date. It has not announced a PC version, PC release date, PC store page, minimum system requirements or recommended system requirements.
This does not mean GTA 6 will never come to PC. It means there is no official PC information to use for a hardware purchase today.
Are there official GTA 6 PC system requirements?
No. Rockstar has not published a processor, graphics card, memory or storage requirement for PC. Tables labelled “expected requirements” or “estimated minimum specifications” remain editorial estimates, even when they copy the familiar minimum and recommended format.
Console hardware cannot be converted into dependable PC requirements. A useful specification would also need the PC port’s target resolution, quality settings, upscaling options and optimisation profile. Rockstar has not published those details.
When will GTA 6 release on PC?
There is no official PC date or release window. Rockstar places the November 19, 2026 date beside the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. Do not repeat that console date as a PC date.
The delay between console and PC releases for earlier Rockstar games cannot produce a reliable GTA VI date. A historical pattern is not a product announcement.
What would count as confirmation?
Treat the PC version as confirmed only when Rockstar directly names the platform. Reliable evidence would include at least one of the following:
- an official Rockstar PC product page or store listing;
- a separate PC release date;
- minimum and recommended configurations published by Rockstar;
- processor, graphics, memory, storage and operating-system details from a direct Rockstar source.
A retailer entry, database record or social post does not meet that standard on its own.
Should you build a PC for GTA 6 now?
Not solely for GTA 6. Without official requirements, you cannot know which component or performance tier will matter. A build based on speculation may cost too much or target the wrong bottleneck.
If you need a new PC for work or games available now, size it for those workloads. For GTA 6, wait for a separate PC announcement and the official system requirements before making a purchase decision.
